Technical Report: CHNS Analysis in Coal - Elemental Analyzer -
A case study measuring carbon (C), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N), and sulfur (S) in coal using elemental analysis.
The amount of CHNS in coal serves as an indicator of coal quality. Coal is primarily used as fuel for thermal power generation and industrial boilers, and the carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and sulfur oxides (SOx) produced after combustion have a negative impact on the environment. Therefore, it is one of the important indicators. This document introduces the analysis method for CHNS using an elemental analyzer and the analysis results.
